Mini Split Air Conditioner

Cooling works fine, but heating does not work at all. Turned all the way up, outside unit turns on but inside unit only makes a humming noise – no air comes out. Ideas?

Hi – any advise appreciated. This includes all the electrical wiring.
Please let me know if you know of a cheaper price too

My hitachi air condioner remote won’t let me change the cooling mode, because it says it needs the date and time programmed, but it won’t let me do it. It is model no.RAS-63CHA1

FOR AUSTRALIA ONLY – How can I obtain a replacement circuit board for my Wall Mounted DEC Split Air Conditioner – Model AC208-HR – Cool/Heat, 5100 Watt – 5700Watt. The company no longer exists but I am hoping someone can throw me a life line. This is all I need as the rest of the equipment is fine ,,,, HELP!!

apart from the appearance, which one is better?

my vehicle dont have a/c in passengers compartment. m installing vents but using same a/c without any modification. for that m closing front side a/c vents. how can i split my a/c blower pipe so that i can block side vents & can use same air for my passengers compartment.

My family and I just moved into a really old farmhouse which is only partially air conditioned on the main floor. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs and we are looking into only air conditioning three of the bedrooms because that is all we need. Would it be cheaper to put a window air conditioner in each room or a mini split air conditioner. We would obviously only have them on when we are sleeping.

I am planning to buy Hitachi Split Ac "Hitachi Ace" or "Hitachi Atom" with dual indoor unit. Can you help me out that which one I should buy from ACE or ATOM, I have to play single unit regularily very rare the second one. Please guide me that will the outer unit be economical for single IDU, or I should by the individual unit.

My logic says the shorter the better; but my AC service person says the minimum (NOT max) is 3 m. It doesn’t make sense to me…
For big units with 12,000 BTU I could find a minimum pipe distance in the manual… But I could not find a minimum pipe (duct) length for smaller units, 5,7, 9,000 BTU… Only max distance or max pipe length…
The indoor unit is separated from the outdoor unit by a thick brick wall.

I am looking to get rid of my old window AC and put in a split ac, I would like to get one that is as quiet as possible. What other key things should I be looking for in a good unit?

hi..actually according to our room space 1ton AC split AC is the best itseems and we dont have any idea about what features should be looked after for the best one…like how many stars,power consumption,necessity of stabliser and…so pls anyone tell us the details..my frns has suggested me 2star LG 1ton split AC so v already ordered it…but wanted to know whether it is good or need to exchange…so pls help…

I live in a brick unit on the second floor. It gets hot in summer and cold in winter. I was thinking of getting a split system air conditioner installed in the lounge room. It’s about 15sqm. There seems to be many product options to look at on the internet. I want an energy efficient one but don’t know what is a good brand and how much to spend. I was thinking more than AUD00? Any advice

My room is installed with a Carrier Split Air Conditioner 1.5 ton. The outdoor compressor drips water from a pipe when the compressor is in operation. One day I saw a bird drinking the water. I am very worried about the innocent bird who might be poisoned by the water which may be containing Freon. Is the water toxic? Please help.

By the way it is almost 9 years old.
I’ve cleaned the filters, but still it is not cooling and stopped the AC restarted once the ice melted but the ice came back again.
What else can I do?
